Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

May we do evil that good may come of it?
This time we had better.

This time we can stop Hitler

All of us have at some point in our lives been confronted with the question: What if we could have killed Hitler before he got started? The question usually takes the form of an academic inquiry or philosophical meandering, sometimes even a debate regarding the nature of good and evil. May we do evil that good may come of it? Here is our chance.

There is no doubt that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not only a genocidal maniac but already has a past, unpunished history of criminality toward Americans, (recall the Iranian Hostage crisis in 1979.) He already created one geopolitical calamity as a lowly student, are we going to give him yet another bite at the proverbial apple?

At any rate, even Hitler had to spend some time in the klink for his crimes. Out of it came Mein Kampf (“My Struggle”) ,the anti-semitic bible of the Nazi party, which outlined his plans for Germany including but not limited to, the destruction of the Jewish people. This kook is not so subtle. In an electronic age he simply gets on the podium and announces to the world his true intentions. At a conference attended by thousands of Iranian students entitled “The World without Zionism”, he warned that Israel would be "wiped off the map" and denounced the recognition of Israel as "a surrender of the Islamic world". This, of course, is only a part of his declaration of good intentions since joining the world stage. In his spare time he sends letters to President Bush telling us how democracy has failed and lamenting "an ever-increasing global hatred" of the U.S. government. Hitler, no slouch when it came to using communications, paled in comparison to Ahmadinejad. Of course, in today’s age, information travels at warp speed and that’s why our response to this certifiable nut job ought to be just as swift.

I don’t know if it’s legal to put up a reward for the assassination of a foreign leader, I think that was outlawed with Castro but sometimes just doing the right thing has its own reward. I’m not the assassination type but I know pure evil when I see it. For the first time in history we have someone who is boldly announcing his plans to start not only a world wide nuclear war but also a genocidal campaign against Israel, the Jewish people and we all can presume, against any “infidels” which would include us. The United States and any sympathetic allies.

Since our former allies have either lost their collective will or in some cases (Russia) are actually in collusion with this guy, it is doubtful that there will be any alliance that will confront Iran on the battlefield. Therefore, it falls to us, the individual, our government or some brave person in our military to take matters into their own hands. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should be assassinated, the sooner the better. This isn’t a philosophical meandering it is a geopolitical and humanitarian imperative. May we do evil that good may come of it? We had better. To quote that lion of geopolitical struggle, Winston Churchill, “Those who fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.”
