Answer: Because global investors
vote with their feet. When Congress killed that stupid bailout, investors said, "those Americans, very, very smart.
They no take on $700 billion in debt, the dollar stay strong. We invest in the dollar!"
How will Congress respond? They will vote for the bailout? Why? Because Congress, very, very stupid and wants economy to tank so Obama will win."
Ok, this isn't really a joke but it's the truth and, remember: Comedy is tragedy revisited.
