Yesterday, illegal aliens chose to boycott on the notorious Communist holiday “United Workers Day” (May 1st) in a ham-handed approach to prove how invaluable they are to America's economic well-being. Here’s what I learned:

With illegals off the road, I didn’t get cut off once on the highway. At first, I couldn’t understand why but the traffic ran so smoothly in a notoriously, unbearably congested area of town. In areas that are usually hell on earth, the traffic surged along. No gridlock, bumper riders, fender benders, insane cut offs or souped up low riders idling in grocery store shopping malls with their ghetto blasters at full blare. It was the quietest, most peaceful day imaginable. Heaven on Earth for Americans.

And the joy didn’t stop when you got off the roads or escaped the parking lots. No way. When you actually got into the store, there were no pregnant mothers with their 3 kids in the basket and 2 kids in tow clogging up the aisles or holding up the check-out line with the WIC vouchers and EFT “Gold cards.” In short, it was paradise. I knew the social and medical cost but I had no idea, really, how much illegal aliens detracted from the immediate quality of life. When the nut cases behind the movement convened to convince America that illegals are invaluable they proved two things:

1) These people are criminals all the way down the line. They can’t drive, legally, they can’t shop, legally, and they can’t follow our rules at any point in the food chain; and,
2) Far from being invaluable, they told me exactly what companies to boycott. Wal-Mart was open and un-affected. (Wal-Mart is a great American company.) Tyson chicken on the other hand is a whole different story. As if chicken industry didn’t have enough problems with Avian flu, they now have an even bigger problem with consumer awareness. I think I’ll switch to fish and beef.

These companies want to fund their corporate profits with low wages while passing onto the taxpayer (e.g. consumer) the social and medical cost of their profit-taking. Sorry, no thanks. This isn't free enterprise this is communism at its worse: privatizing profits and subsidizing loss.

I’m done contemplating the moral, social or economic value of illegal aliens as we, like fools, are funding their Re-conquistador movement.

We need to get rid of the unions, bring down (way down) the minimum wage and let these people do what ALL aliens had to do when they came to this country. Work for peanuts, follow the law, assimilate, and keep their lazy asses off the federal dole.
