The Duke Lacrosse Rape Case: How can you be so Dumb?

Today, it appears two arrests were made in the Duke Lacrosse team sex case. The charges were first degree forcible rape, first degree sexual offense and kidnapping, and bond was set at $400,000 each. Those are going to be some serious defense bills.

Most of the DNA and forensic evidence seems to point to a hoax. Except for one troubling eyewitness report.

As reported by the local newspaper the News & Observer:

“Until Sunday night, the only other witness, the second woman hired to dance at the party, had remained silent. In television interviews, she told her story...
The woman told MSNBC that she did not witness a rape and does not know whether one occurred.
The woman said she arrived thinking that she would be dancing at a bachelor party of 15 people. She was not expecting a party of lacrosse players, many of whom she said were in a drunken stupor. The woman said she was infuriated to learn that some players photographed her dancing.
The accuser did not appear to be on drugs or to have been drinking when she arrived, the second dancer said. She was "absolutely fine and in control of herself."
When the accuser left, less than an hour after she arrived, she was incoherent and stumbling, the second dancer said.
"She couldn't really walk on her own," the woman said. "She really couldn't get her thoughts together enough to answer any questions. ... She was a different person than I met at the beginning."
The second woman said she was the person who called 911 as the party was breaking up, to complain that some lacrosse players had used racial slurs. "The boys hollered the 'N' word," she said. "I was upset and called 911."
She said she pretended to be a passer-by because she didn't want people in her life to know about her job as an escort service dancer.
It is unclear how that woman's story would affect the case. Players' attorneys have said she would only help them.”

Ya’ think so? Now, that, to me, seems to point to Rohypnol. And that points to some really bad sh-t. Let’s see, you are rich, privileged, male and you hire an “escort” of a different race for entertainment. You’re a sports figure, no less. And they say jocks are stupid. One need look no farther than the Kobe Bryant fiasco to realize that these guys, no matter how “innocent” they may be of rape, are 100,000% guilty of “stupid.”

Was it worth it, guys? You don’t need a dissertation on our culture to get the subtle social sexual nuances going on here. I don’t know what they are teaching kids in school today (but given how many teachers are sleeping with their students, one can only guess), it sure as heck isn’t common sense.

Liberals have been telling us for ages that “sex is healthy”, everyone does it, no one needs marriage, it’s a free for all, enjoy. (That’s how they got so many converts, it was their best marketing tool.) But someone forgot to read the footnotes: The feminists. The ones who said “all sex is rape”, that you can rape a prostitute (as opposed to say, "theft of services") and that “no” mean “no” no matter how much booze your date may have plied herself with before getting you into her dorm room or apartment for a full-fledged makeout session.

These guys may get exonerated for rape (although, if the date rape drug toxology comes back as positive, forget it.) They will, however, forever be guilty of “stupid.”
