The Amnesty Queens

You didn't think they were going to go quietly into the great night, did you? The Amnesty Harpies who lost on the Senate floor are now taking this show on the road and the bad guys are you and me. The American Taxpayer. The "Documented" Voter. The American sucker who failed to let the congressional infants get their way. For what it's worth, here is how we're being portrayed:

The Congressional Temper Tantrum

As reported by the A.P. John McCain is out there lamenting that he "regrets that lawmakers weren't able to legalize millions of undocumented immigrants and fortify the border. ..Twelve million people in our country, we don't know where they are and what they're doing. So by blocking action we have now silent amnesty, and that's unfortunate."

The National Security Playbook

Notice the talking points. (They never quit.) Undocumented immigrants, fortify the border, silent amnesty. Tinge fear with sadness. How congressional. These are what you call non- sequiturs. Legalizing millions of undocumented immigrants (criminals) and fortifying the border are two completely disparate ideas. One has nothing to do with the other. Fortifying the border is easy, call Israel. Legalizing millions of illegals is not going to fortify a border that does not exist (and that Congress has apparently no intention of building.) Or, is that their ace in the hole? Are they smarter than we think? (Doubtful.) They're holding out for our wall until AFTER we let them document their undocumented voters, I mean, immigrants . Either way, it's no, no, no, no, N-O to Congress. Build that wall, deport the illegals, let them stand in line just like our ancestors did and then we'll consider a sane, legal immigration policy that gives us the talent, labor and cultural values that we want and need.

It's difficult enough assimilating racial minorities, what do you do when these minorities have made clear they never, ever want to assimilate? They call it "Racial Pride." I call it one of the 7 deadly sins. Do we really want to create yet another division so vast that we ignire one more race war? African Americans are already picking off Mexicans for taking their jobs. So, here's what we're going to do: This time the grown-ups are going to run the asylum, that means us, the people who clobbered you on this bill. And, as far as you're all concerned, we're not going to give one moments attention (or credence) to your counterfeit talking points.

The Humanity Card

Meanwhile, in Florida, the Republican Party is challenging those who opposed the bill to "come up with a solution beyond just building a fence on the border." You hear that America? Now, the onus is on us. They're taking their marbles and going home. Thank God. Here's our solution: Build the Border Fence. Oh yeah, and Free Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. Plus, let's Nifong Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales who clearly cannot see the American national interest through his Hispanic trees.

Further, at "a gathering of more than 1,000 Hispanic officials, Sen. Mel Martinez, R-Fla. stated, 'The voices of negativity now have a responsibility to come up with an answer...How will you fix the situation to make peoples' lives better? How will you continue to grow the economy? How will we bring people out of the shadows for our national security and for the sake of being a country that is just?"

As one of those "voices of negativity", allow me to make a few things perfectly clear: This is why we pay you, Martinez. Can't wrap your head around these concepts? Get a new job.

This is how we typically better the lives of people who are in this country illegally: We deport them. Want a clue as to how to "bring people out of the shadows"? Let local law enforcement have a crack at it. I know plenty of sheriffs, lawmen and police who would love nothing more than to bust a few gang-bangers and send them back to where they belong. You're in this country illegally? Had a nice stay? Free health care, welfare services, good education, made a nice living that you enjoyed and sent back to Mexico? Hasta luego, amigos. Now take what you learned about America and export it to your own country. And take that nice Pontiac Grand Am that you bought and drive it back over the Rio Grande- consider it our parting gift.

As far as being a country that is just? We are far too just. We sacrifice common sense, national security and quality of life so that criminals won't think we are mean. That isn't justice, that's just plain stupid.

As far as growing the economy, how much more do you really want it to grow, Mel, before you start whining to us about hyper-inflation? Don't want too much more growth do we? We already have only a 4% unemployment rate, that's full employment. Any more "growth" will cause the Feds to drive up interest rates and force a whole lot of American suckers who took adjustable mortgages into bankruptcy, as well as cost the businesses (that you maintain you'd like to see grown) millions in order to access capital spending to pay for interest on their expenses. In addition, you drive up the cost of consumer borrowing and you know what happens then, Mel. People stop spending. Why not just raise taxes to pre-9/11 levels. That is how you kill growth. Now, if you want to "continue to grow the economy", here's a clue: Write up one of those famous congessional "road maps to prosperity" and we'll do exactly the opposite of whatever you're thinking.

That Labor Factor

Further, if you're stating that we need to bring in more workers (and let's be clear, we are talking about cheap, itinerant labor) I have a brilliant idea: GET RID OF THE UNIONS. Use the anti-trust laws that God and the Sherman anti-trust Act gave us and start trust-busting and drive wages down to a level that's commensurate with reality. $6.00/ hour for minimum wage? Give me a break. Any wonder why it costs $15.00 to get two burgers and some fries at McDonalds? Inflated labor costs are passed onto the consumer. The costs of this false economy are passed on in every way: Artificially inflated wages equals bloated costs of all essential items, from groceries to cars to clothing. Consider construction. These wages in the building sector equals higher rents which equals higher costs of living what creates a vicious cycle where "people can't earn a living wage" at McDonalds.

Let me alert you of something, senators, starting jobs at McDonalds were never meant to support a family. Those were the jobs we took in high school that made the best case possible that we needed to get a really good college education and get a real job. (Of course, thanks to your tampering with the costs of tuition and that great system of tenure, the cost of higher education has spiraled out of control and the quality of that education has virtually diminished.) How do you expect a professional to work for less than $250/hour when he or she has had to pay $45,000.00 per year for their degrees only to be sued down the road by social and economic parasites (excuse me, "wealth re-distribution experts") like Presidential aspirant John Edwards. And yet you wonder why our costs of medical care and access to justice have spiraled out of control.

You people are clueless (or think that we are) and we are tired of living under your illogical systems of justice, economics, social welfare and medical care. and that goes for your policies on immigration. Get a clue. .

The Voters have a card, too: You're Fired.

Here's another subtlety to all you senators and congresspeople who are thinking about exploiting our win for your gain: DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. We're going to vote you all out and no one but no one wants to listen to your sob stories anymore. You created the problem, you go ahead and fix it. I'm all for cheap labor, lower costs to consumers, and full employment for all (something you also can't stand because that drives up real wages- not the artificially inflated ones that occur when labor unions, the mob and congress-though labor controlled PACS- are skimming cash off the top).

Don't play the pity card with us, senators. Our well of compassion and justice for illegals is truly tapped out. And if you need the votes in your Hispanic-heavy districts because of all the illegals who you crimially marched into vote, don't come crying to us. Pay them out of your own pocket or, if you wouldn’t mind, give us our country back. In case you are gripped by indecision on this point. Consider this: We're just made you an offer, you can not refuse.
